I am at a “loss” for words when it comes to creating new titles for “Scorpions Lose.” Rafters roll 10-5.

The bright spot was definitely the offense, 13 hits with almost everyone in the lineup getting a knock. Tabata continued to tear it up, 3-5 from the lead off spot, Gosewisch goes 2-4.

* Thomas Neal hit his first homerun of the AFL off Sisk in his 3rd AB. Hit to the right of dead center and travelled over the 400ft marker. A great bounce back game as he goes 3-5, HR, 2RBI raising his avg to .325.

* Brandon Crawford was playing 2B today. He was part of 2 double plays and made a great inning ending catch. At the plate, 1-4, BB, 3K’s.

* I love walks; on the diamond and to the ballpark. I am right across the street from Surprise Stadium and it’s awesome to have a roundtrip time of 15 minutes without any cars involved. Tomorrow I’m back on the road at Scottsdale Stadium…sigh.

* The Scorpions take infield practice today so there are more shots of BP in the set, a lot of great shots today.
